Our Story
About
Research commenced in 2010 when founder, Zoe Peden handed in her notice from working as a senior manager at The Makaton Charity. After working with parents, teachers and speech and language therapists across the UK the first version was released in 2011. Since then MyChoicePad has won multiple innovation awards including the BT Connected Society Award, Elle Magazine UK Social Entrepreneur of the Year, Finalist Global Mobile Awards, Winner Great British Care Awards.
As we head into our second decade over 120,000 people have downloaded MyChoicePad and use it in their home, at work, at school and to lead more independent lives. A percentage of all revenue is paid to The Makaton Charity to support the further development of the language programme.
MyChoicePad has been built and designed by a team of passionate product and software developers and speech and language therapists.
